Towards the end of living and studying in Edinburgh, Scotland, I started to reflect on my time there. Only when I stopped and looked back did I fully realize what I was admitted to experience, to see, to discover, and what friendships I could make due to my time there.

When you are admitted to a place, be that to a country, a school/university, or even a friend's house, you are lucky in that you've been allowed to see and experience something that not everyone is admitted to witness or encounter.
